Salisbury: JPI Coastal Burglarized Friday on Old Concord Road. Burglars Walk through the Front Door and Carry Off $2,610 Worth of Tools

♦ Businesses large and small are getting hammered by break-ins and unlawful entries all over Salisbury.  Almost daily the Salisbury Police incident reports are brimming with burglaries.  Business owners, especially the larger ones, really require state of the art electronic surveillance, motion detectors, and alarm systems, yet they won’t work if someone leaves a front or backdoor unlocked.  Salisbury is a nest of burglars, both professional and ordinary street people hunting for easy pickings. In recent years these folks have been joined by I-85 corridor crime tourists.

According to Salisbury Police sources JPI Coastal, a major business with buildings on 1114 Old Concord Road, were victims of a “burglary-unlawful entry” reported on Friday to 911 Dispatch.  Sources report that the burglars entered through an open front door and removed an assortment of expensive drills, power saws, and tool sets (Total value $2,610).

The burglary suspects drove off in a white Honda Accord.  No description of the suspects is available yet.
