Salisbury: Thomas Hosch Victim of a Knife Assault Saturday Morning on W. Monroe Street

♦ Violence in the streets of Salisbury is on the rise since as the temperatures heated up.  Violent crime can happen anywhere in Salisbury.  The West End, Fulton Heights appear to be particularly afflicted. Shootings into occupied homes have picked up.

According to Salisbury Police Thomas Jerome Hosch, 35, of 610 Shaver Street, East Spencer, was the victim of an “assault-knife” in the street in front McLaughlin’s Grocery at 1210 W. Monroe Street on Saturday morning.  Hosch sustained minor injuries at the hands of a stranger.  This is Hosch’s second tangle with a knife since early June when he was knifed at W. Horah and S. West Streets in Salisbury.  Saturday’s crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 8:43 a.m. and brought police vehicles into the area.

At this time no arrests have been made and no suspects named.
