Salisbury: Joshua Pruitt and Jeremiah Mason Arrested Thursday for Alleged Armed Robberies on May 22nd and June 21st

♦ Salisbury Police Report that Joshua Dewayne Pruitt, 24, of the streets of Salisbury, was arrested Thursday at 2:41 p.m. at 502 N. Shaver Street for the alleged May 22nd armed robbery at the Spee-Dee Mart on 402 Park Avenue where he allegedly held up Bradley Donelle Wallace, 31, of E. Lafayette Street for $5, a debit card, and a pair of socks. The May 22nd RFP Article is posted below.

The RFP May 24th article about May 22nd Armed Robbery at the Spee-Dee parking lot at 402 Park Avenue:

“Salisbury Police sources report that Bradley Donelle Wallace, 31, of E. Lafayette Street, was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” in the Spee-Dee Mart parking lot at 402 Park Avenue when a man armed with a rifle came up on him and forced him at gunpoint to turn over $5 in cash, his debit card, and a pair of socks. There are not a lot of high-rollers showing up at the Spee-Dee Mart. Mr. Wallace appears to be related to the wrong Wallace Family.

Wallace sustained minor injuries during the incident. The crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 1:18 p.m. and brought Salisbury Police vehicles into the lot. It is not known if the Spee-Dee Mart has a security camera set up for the parking lot area.

♦ The Salisbury Police report that Jeremiah O’Brien Mason, 16, of Neelytown Road in Salisbury was arrested at 2:38 p.m. Thursday on 341 Hollybrook Court for the alleged armed robbery of Amanda Petrea, 25, in the parking lot of the Zion Hills Apartments at 1614 Standish Street for a pocketbook (Valued at $20) on June 21st. From the June 22nd 2018 RFP article about the armed robbery in the parking lot of Zion Hills Apartments 1614 Standish Street, Salisbury, NC:

“According to Salisbury Police sources Amanda Nichole Petrea, 25, of 101 Mary Street in Kannapolis, was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” in Zion Hills Apartment’s parking lot sometime around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Petrea was threatened by a stranger with a handgun. The robber allegedly stole a pocketbook (Valued at $20) The crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 12:06 a.m. and brought police vehicles to the apartment complex. No injuries were reported.

It is not known if the gunman was identified.
