Salisbury: Gunfire Broke Out in the Walmart Parking Lot on S. Arlington Street at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday. One Man Grazed–Another in Custody

♦ **Updated: Salisbury Walmart Shooter Still-at-large.  Shooting Victim Dijimon Lucas Arrested on Freeland Drive Allegedly for Possessing Stolen Vehicle:**

According to Salisbury police sources and several Walmart shoppers 6 shots were fired in the Walmart parking lot at 323 S. Arlington Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Two men who were walking through the parking lot were shot at by someone in a vehicle.

A young man identified as Dijimon Antoniq Lucas, 20, of Forest Street in Highpoint was grazed by a bullet in the left butt cheek, but declined treatment from Rowan County Emergency Services.  An unidentified shooter is still at large. A 2nd man was detained for questioning and then let go. He was one of the targets. No names have been released yet.

A number of shell casings were recovered at the crime scene.
