Salisbury: Home Badly Shot-Up on Standish Street Monday Night. Two Men Survive Gunfire Barrage Creating $1,730 in Damage

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Tonnie Orlando Jackson, 50, an employee of Safety Cab and Thomas Wade Oberlies, 58, both of the Zion Hills Apartments on 1418 Standish Street,  were victims Monday night of “all other shooting into an occupied property”.  Gunmen poured multiple rounds into “a” and “b” units, damaging doors, interior and exterior walls, windows, ceilings, and a fence.  The total bullet damage was estimated at $1,730.  The crime, reported to 911 Dispatch at 9:52 p.m., brought numerous police vehicles to the scene.  Police investigators gathered shell casings of an unknown firearm in the street by the home and interviewed neighbors about what they witnessed.

Mercifully no one with injured during the shooting.

No arrests so far for this shooting and no suspects named.

This is the 2nd major police incident at the address since April when Mr. Jackson had his home sacked by burglars. (The RFP article posted below)
