♦ The uptick in break-ins into homes, buildings, businesses, and vehicles by revolving door criminals continues unabated in Salisbury.  It is a major concern for persons living in all of the city’s communities.  Frequently these crimes are fueled by addiction to opioids and sometimes meth.  In recent years women, operating as lone wolves or paired with males, are becoming more involved in burglaries and break-ins.

According to Salisbury Police sources Whitney Paige Krider, 29, of Salisbury was arrested at the Happy Traveler Inn, the city’s premier “fun-tel” at 1420 E. Innes Street and a Motel that deserves to be on the National Historic Registry for being an outstanding example of 50’s style architecture. Krider was arrested on Wednesday at 2:20 a.m. and charged for allegedly “breaking and entering-building” (felony) and for “larceny after breaking/enter” (felony).  We will provide more specifics on where and when these two felonies occurred as well as what was stolen as soon as the Salisbury Police Department puts up the Incident Report for Krider’s alleged crimes.
