Salisbury: Michael Faulk Died Early Monday Morning of Multiple Gunshots Wounds in the Driveway of a Home at 508 N. Shaver Street

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Michael Duren Faulk, 44, of 520 E. Cemetery Street in Salisbury, died of multiple gunshot wounds in the driveway of a home at 508 N. Shaver Street early Monday morning.  EMS personnel pronounced Faulk dead at the scene. The crime scene rapidly transformed into a homicide investigation involving investigators of the Salisbury Police Department and agents of the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).  Neighbors claimed to hear multiple gunshots being fired prior to 2 a.m.  Unconfirmed reports of a loud altercation was said to take place prior to the killing.

The crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 2:10 A.M. and brought officers and emergency services vehicles to the N. Shaver Street homicide scene.

No arrests have been made at this time or a suspect revealed.  No motivations for the killing have been put forward.

This is the 4th Salisbury homicide in 2018.
