Salisbury: Woman Strong Arm Robbed Thursday A.M. Near the Intersection of Duke Drive and Old Concord Road

♦ Rowan County Sheriff’s office sources report that Elizabeth Grace Hefner, 23, of Salisbury was the victim Thursday of a “robbery-strong arm no weapon” at the intersection of Duke Drive and Old Concord Road Thursday morning around 12:18 a.m. when encountered a robber who she was acquainted with in the area.  Using bodily force, the man grabbed a purse, $10 in cash, a wallet, and her ID card.  The total value of the stolen items was $215. The robber got back in his 2002 Gold GM Saturn and sped away.  Luckily Hefner suffered no injuries at the hands of her assailant.
