Salisbury: Stranger Knifes Elderly Woman’s Tires Thursday Morning on Crawford Street Running Up $700 in Damage

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Gale Morefield Sales, 78, living at 136 Crawford Street, was the victim of “vandalism” when a stranger knifed all 4 of the Cooper Tires on her 2004 Silver Honda Accord 4-door Sedan parked at 136 Crawford Street.  The badly damaged tires cost an estimated $700.  Ms. Sales called 911 Dispatch Thursday at 10:53 a.m. and brought Salisbury Police to her house.

No motive for the vandalism has been provided to date and no suspects have been named.
