Salisbury: Apartment and Vehicle Shot Up Saturday Night at Brenner Crossing Apartments in All-Out Assault

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that an apartment at the Brenner Crossing Apartments, 610 Brenner Avenue was shot up Saturday night by an unknown gunman with a handgun.  The 3 victims  of the “all other shooting into an occupied property” and “all other discharging a firearm” were Casey Graham, 26, a female living at the apartment, Decarlos Jordan, 25, of 1307 W. Horah Street, and Akia West, 21, 483 Jackson Road.  Mercifully none of the victims were injured by either bullets or flying glass.  3 doors in the apartment building were damaged by handgun bullets as were an interior wall and a window of Graham’s residence.  Total damage to the apartment was estimated at $750.  A 2005 white Chevvy Malibu sustained bullet damage to a window and Mirror. The total car damage was estimated at $400.

The crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 11:35 p.m.  Police vehicles arrived a short time later and investigators soon followed.  They questioned the apartment’s occupants, neighbors, and gathered shell casings in the lot.  Neighbors stood outside their units and watched.  Violence was no stranger to Brenner Crossing complex.
