♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Wallace Commons suffered yet another restaurant break-in blitzkrieg (the 3rd such break-in blitzkrieg employing rocks smashing glass at the front of the restaurants in the past few weeks).  Subway Restaurant, 1317 Klumac Road and Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant, 1311 Klumac Road, which adjoin each other in Wallace Commons, had their front door windows shattered by rock or a similar blunt object early Thursday morning.  Both crimes were reported at 1:53 a.m. to 911 Dispatch and brought patrol vehicles streaming into Wallace Commons.

Subway Restaurant was the victim of a “burglary-forcible entry”.  It sustained $500 worth of damage to their glass front door.  Apparently the burglars saw no cash in the cash register and left.

While all of the Break-in Blitzkriegs follow the same modus operandi of rocking and restaurant targeting, it has not been revealed by the Salisbury Police whether these break-ins are related. However it appears the break-ins are related to burglaries in Mocksville.

Manifest of damaged property at Subway Restaurant, 1317 Klumac Road:

Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant was the victim of an “attempted forcible entry”.  The burglars were reported to flee the area after an audible alarm went off in Los Arcos.
