Salisbury: Two Shootings into Occupied Properties Early Sunday Morning. 401 Grace Street and 317 W. C Avenue Draw Gunfire

♦ Salisbury Police Department Sources report 2 shootings into occupied properties took place early Sunday morning at 401 Grace Street and 317 W. C. Avenue in Salisbury.  The two shootings were unrelated. No one was reported injured at either residence. At this writing no Salisbury Police Incident Reports is posted yet on the “Police to Citizen” website. We will post them as soon as they are available.

Salisbury Police Department Bulletins for the shooting into occupied properties at 317 W. C. Avenue and 401 Grace Street in Salisbury, N.C.:

Hattie Myers, 71, was the victim of an all other shooting into an occupied at 317 W. Avenue C in Salisbury. The shooting was reported to 911 Dispatch at 2:36 a.m. and brought officers to the home. Multiple shots were reported fired at home with bullets striking the brick exterior walls near the rear door. A bullet hole was found in a rear door while another shattered the rear window. No suspects were named and no motive for the shootings provided.

Donneka Malinda Wiggins, 401 Grace Street, 34, was the victim of “all other shooting into an occupied property” at 401 Grace Street, in Salisbury. The shooting was reported to 911 Dispatch at 4:46 a.m. No injuries reported. Two bullets struck a window near the front door. The people in the home heard a car speeding in the direction of Fairmount Avenue immediately after the shots were fired.

No arrests have been made and no motives revealed.
