Salisbury: Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Felon Nekhent Supreme Ali Wednesday A.M. on Bryce Avenue for Alleged Drug Trafficking

♦ According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources after weeks of intensive investigation Sheriff’s Office investigators swooped down on the lair of alleged Salisbury drug kingpin Nekhent Supreme Ali AKA William S. Perry, 36, at 1115 Bryce Avenue in Salisbury on Wednesday at 11:02 a.m.  Ali was arrested on a number of alleged felony drug charges, firearms charges, and a felony habitual criminal charge.  Under a secured $250,000 bond, Ali is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.

A joint force of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations unit, the Salisbury Police narcotics unit, and the Department of Homeland Security joined in the effort.

Between March 21st and April 24th undercover investigators from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the Salisbury Police Department allegedly purchased 70 grams of suspected crack cocaine from Ali from his residence on Bryce Avenue. Another warranted search of a second residence of Ali’s on 6080 Bringle Ferry Road in Salisbury investigators allegedly located 40 caliber Taurus pistol and a 5.56 caliber Rock River assault rifle along with large amounts of cash, drug paraphernalia, and 18 grams of marijuana.
