♦ Salisbury Police sources report the Fish Hut Arcade at 2164 Statesville Blvd, and two of its employees, Mark Foxx and Habid Khan, were victims of an armed robbery early Wednesday morning when two Black men entered the front door of the establishment and held a semi-automatic handgun to the rear of an employees head, demanding cash.  Cash, some $7,220, was quickly handed over to the gunmen who left the Fish Hut and got into a white SUV. The vehicle sped off the lot before officers arrived in numbers.

The 2 gunmen’s faces were partially obscured by hoods and coats. Hopefully some security cam photos will become available.

This is the second time in less than a week that a “gaming arcade” has been tipped over by bandits–the last one was at the Fishzilla arcade cost an employee James Christopher Davis his life.  This morning’s crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 1:05 a.m.  On the upside no one was hurt.

Prediction: electronic gaming arcades appear to be the next big frequently hit money targets in Salisbury. Move over Salisbury convenience store–Big Daddy’s here.
