♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Dedric Michelle Mason, 42, a social worker was arrested today without incident on 150 Sunrise Ridge Drive Tuesday at 2:11 p.m. and charged with murder (2nd degree) in the shooting death of James Christopher Davis, 45, at the Fishzilla Arcade on Saturday morning.  Under a secured $50,000 bond, Mason was held briefly in the Rowan County Detention Center and has since bonded out.

Before the Salisbury Police moved forward with the arrest warrant for Mason they consulted with the District Attorney’s Office.
