Salisbury: Bryan Mims Arrested Saturday in Food Lion Warehouse Lot for Allegedly Assaulting a Truck Driver with a Dangerous Weapon

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Bryan Eric Mims, 34, from Michigan who hitchhiked a ride from California with Manjinder Singh, 45, from Canton Michigan and a driver for Green Trucking LLc, got into a heated altercation over a Samsung Galaxy cellphone in the Food Lion Warehouse parking lot at 2085 Harrison Road.  Mims allegedly assaulted Singh with the phone and stole it from him along with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The crime was reported to 911 Dispatch at 6:13 a.m. and brought Police to the warehouse lot.  Singh sustained minor injuries.

Officers arriving on the scene subdued Mims after a short struggle and took him into custody.  The stolen cellphone was recovered.
