Salisbury: A Stranger Torches a 2003 Mercedes Benz Sunday Evening in the Parking Lot at 1605 E. Innes Street

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Marquis Bond, 35, living at Kite Ct. in Concord, N.C., was the victim of an “arson motor vehicle” on Sunday evening in the parking lot at 1605 E. Innes Street when a stranger set fire to his white 2003 Mercedes C180K 2 door.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 6:05 p.m. and brought officers to the lot. The fire damaged the sedan’s window, console/glove box, and right side passenger door.  (Total value $400)
