♦ It’s not a good idea to be on the streets of Salisbury round about midnight especially in convenience store parking lots where bad things happen to good people and not so good people.  A pack of ciggies, a six pack of “ICE”, and 2 gallons of gas might not be worth a bullet in the brisket or a beating.

According to Salisbury Police sources Dakota Cheyenne Hughes, 24, of 235 Hanna Avenue in Salisbury and an employee of the Walmart Super Center, was the victim Sunday night of a “strong arm robbery no weapon” and a “all other kidnapping” in the parking lot of Murphy’s Express at 1010 Freeland Drive.  Hughes was forced to give up $6 to a threatenting stranger who apparently contained the victim’s movements enough to be called a kidnapping.  Hughes’ White Chevvy SUV was listed on the manifest.  Fortunately no injuries were reported and Hughes got out of his situation in one piece.
