Drug Bust at Salisbury Murder House on Gheen Road. Sheriff’s Office Arrests Norman Blackwell and Christina Loflin on Alleged Drug Charges

♦ According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources Norman Reid Blackwell, 68, and Christina Ann Loflin, 31, were arrested at 11 a.m. Tuesday during a drug raid conducted by Rowan County Sheriff’s Office on a house on 1270 Gheen Road in Salisbury.  The house was zeroed in on after area residents complained about ongoing drug activity.  That same house was the scene of the February shooting murder of Gregory Yarborough. Sheriff’s Office investigators conducted a warranted search of 1270 Gheen Road and allegedly found cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence of drug dealing and drug use.  Blackwell and Loflin were present in the home.

Norman Reid Blackwell:

Blackwell was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine (felony), maintain dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance (felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor). Under a secured $7,500 bond, he has since bonded out of the Rowan County Detention Center.
