Salisbury: Shooting Death Investigation at 1270 Gheen Road Friday Afternoon. Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Detectives on the Scene

According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources detectives are on the scene at a home at 1270 Gheen Road in Salisbury after a woman called 911 dispatch and told them someone was shot at that address and promptly hung up.  Sheriff’s office deputies poured into the area quickly and found an unidentified male gunshot victim.  Rowan EMS determined that the victim expired.

The crime scene around the front of the wooden home next to an old church in rural Salisbury was rapidly secured by Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division detectives.  No word yet either identifying the victim or if the shooting was ruled a homicide.  Detectives were gathering evidence and information.
