Salisbury: Burglars “Rock” James River Equipment on Klumac Rd. for the 2nd Time Since January 11th. Cart Off 10 Power Saws Worth $6,649

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources James River Companies, LLC (James River Equipment) at 805 Klumac Road was the victim of a “burglary-forcible entry” and a “larceny-from the building” on Thursday when burglars “rocked” the front door glass and made off with 8 STHL chain saws and 2 STHL cordless cut-off saws whose total value was worth $6,649.50. This is the 2nd time a major burglary has been committed on this property since Thursday, January 11th when burglars smashed through the door with a rock and carted off $1,683 in power saws.

A rock, brick, or cinder block etc. was used to smash the door glass. An estimate of the glass door damage was not provided at the time of this writing. (The last time the door got “rocked” the damage was assessed at $500.) Yesterday’s crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 12:49 a.m.
