♦ Hard luck and trouble seems to follow people who hang out in gas station parking lots or walk the streets of Salisbury after midnight.  There’s a folksy saying out there beyond the street lights: “Don’t trouble trouble unless trouble troubles you.”  There’s plenty of that after midnight in Salisbury.

According to Salisbury Police Department sources Timothy Alan Dixon, 55, of the streets of Salisbury, was the victim of a “robbery–strong arm no weapon” early Friday morning by the Speedway gas station at 500 E. Innes Street.  Besides being assaulted and sustaining minor injuries, Dixon gave up $40 to stranger who faded quickly from the scene.

At this time no arrests have been made or suspects have been revealed.
