♦ Gun violence and break-ins have spread throughout the city.  No one is immune, not even the Country Club with it’s mansions.  Burglars are beginning to realize that the best treasure sits waiting to be tapped in the cull de sacs and gated manses of the once safe Country Club.  The crosshairs are beginning to fix on the homes of the wealthy where a stolen moving van can be packed with much booty in a short time and elaborate alarm systems can be disabled quickly.  Murder waits grinning around the corner…

According to Salisbury Police sources Brannon Williams, 36, of 1205 Sumter Court and Daniel Wallace, 33, of Confederate Avenue, were victims of an “assault-gun” at a mansion on 1205 Sumter Court when an unidentified stranger threatened the pair with a cocked shotgun. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch Sunday at 12:19  a.m.  Mercifully no one was injured.

No motive was reported for the shotgun being pulled.  The crime remains under investigation.  So far no suspects have been named.
