Salisbury: Delwyn Smith Arrested Tuesday at the Brookview Apartments for Alleged Violations of Federal Firearms Codes

♦ Salisbury Police Department Press Release on January 24, 2018:

On January 23, 2018, as a part of an ongoing partnership to target violent crime and gang crime throughout Salisbury and the Rowan County area, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Salisbury Police Department conducted a warrant service in the Brookview Apartment complex, 711 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue for Delwyn Jamar Smith, 33, (DOB 10/27/1984).  Smith was arrested for Federal Warrants from the Middle District of North Carolina for violations of Federal Firearms Codes. Smith was taken into custody without incident and is awaiting court proceedings in the Middle District of North Carolina (MDNC).

This operation was conducted with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the FBI Charlotte Divisions SWAT team. Any questions regarding the matter should be forwarded to the United States Attorney’s Office of the MDNC.
