♦ There are some houses in Salisbury where homeownership would dictate a Rambo style anti-aircraft gun placement and having sandbags stacked up against the interior walls. Perhaps even a “joy buzzer” alarm connected to Salisbury Police HQ.

According to Salisbury Police sources Estell Hillie, 47, living at 502 S. Shaver Street, an address appearing in the news for previous shootings, was the victim of a “burglary-unlawful entry” on Monday evening.  Burglars helped themselves to $1,481 worth of valuables including a 9mm Taurus handgun, 2 TVs, assorted gaming electronics, and shoes. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 7:49 p.m.
