♦  It’s Christmas time in Salisbury and the purse snatchers, wolf packs, muggers, blade men, and car break-in artists are out in force hunting for fresh holiday prey from Main Street to Innes.  To our knowledge no Salvation Army bell ringers have been jumped in the Bury yet.  Pray for Santa.

According to Salisbury Police sources Abby Pope, 50, a Kmart Employee and Kmart at 815 E. Innes Street were victims of “robbery-strong arm no weapon” and “larceny-shoplifting” on Friday December 15th.  Two women, later identified as Briana Ladorthy Bracy, 26, of Salisbury and Shadesia Ashley Francis, 28, an employee at Cracker Barrel on Freeland Drive in Salisbury, allegedly threatened Pope and snatched her iPhone 7 and toys all valued at $1,100. No one was injured during the incident. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 9:01 a.m. and brought officers swarming into the area looking for the suspects’ 2003 Blue Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV.
