Salisbury: Armed Robbery Sunday Night in the Taco Bell Parking Lot on E. Innes St. Robber Takes $3,000 Beretta Pistol at Gunpoint

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Matthew Edwards, 18, of E. Horah Street in Salisbury was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” in the Taco Bell parking lot at 602 E. Innes Street on Sunday night.  Taken by surprise, Edwards was forced at gunpoint to place his hands behind his head and face the other way while the gunman relieved him of a fully automatic $3,000 Beretta 92/96, a holster, and a double magazine.  The total value of the pistol and accessories was $3,125.  No injuries were reported, but another killing weapon is on the streets. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 10:30 p.m. No injuries resulted from the holdup.

No suspects have been arrested or described at this time.
