♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Helen Covington, 71, living on Welch Circle in Salisbury was the victim of a “larceny-all other” on Saturday when a thief grabbed her pocketbook containing $1,540 in cash, IDs, and credit cards. No injuries were recorded. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 10:38 a.m.

At this time no suspects have been named or arrests made.

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Dijonne Williams, 24, Marcus Fairley, 25, and Joseph Belony, 23, all living at 201 S. Link Ave in Salisbury, were victims of a “burglary-forcible entry” at their residence on Tuesday.  A burglar carted off some $3,948 worth of video game players, a TV, $1,500 in cash, a Seiko watch, and a necklace. Bodily force was used to gain entry through a broken window.

At this time no arrests have been made.
