Salisbury: William Hargrave Shot Early Saturday Morning on S. Craige Street. Transported to the Hospital with Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Salisbury Police sources report that William Pierre Hargrave, 21, of 521 Harrel Street, was the victim of “assault-gun” at 610 S. Craige Street in Salisbury.  Hargrave reportedly suffered from gunshot wounds to his back and arm from a yet to be determined firearm.  Hargrave was reported bleeding profusely from his injuries. The victim was said to not know his assailant.  His condition is yet unknown.  He was transported to an area hospital believed to be Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 3:51 a.m. as a suspicious person after the wounded man knocked on someone’s door.

Salisbury Police vehicles filled the street around 4 a.m. and investigators spoke with neighbors. Multiple gunshots were heard in the area.

No motive for the shooting is known yet. No suspects have been named.
