**Updated: Salisbury: Terry Eugene Watson, Jr. WANTED for the Alleged Murder of Isaiah Malik Gillespie at the Laurel Pointe Apartment Complex Monday:


Salisbury Police sources report that Isaiah Malik Gillespie, 20, of 1405 Lane Street in Kannapolis was shot just before midnight in a white Kia parked in the parking lot by building 200 at the Laurel Pointe Apartment complex on Laurel Pointe Circle. The shooting was reportedly done at pointblank range by a man who walked up to the Kia and fired. Gillespie was transported in a private vehicle to the Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center where he died soon after arrival.

The shooting is being called a “criminal homicide-murder”. According to Police sources Gillespie and the shooter knew each other. The killing is alleged to be over a woman friend and is said to be unrelated to the recent Taco Bell parking lot killing last Friday night in Salisbury. The SBI joined in the investigation and were at the crime scene.

This is the 10th murder in Salisbury in 2017. In 2016 the murder toll stood at 11.

Although the Police have a suspect in this case, no arrests have been made.
