Salisbury: Thomas James Nicholas, 29, Arrested Tueday Night for Alleged Sex Crimes with a 10-year-old Child

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Thomas James Nicholas, 29, of 1409 W. Monroe Street, was arrested Tuesday at 7:53 p.m. at his job at Locust Plastics on 630 Industrial Avenue for alleged indecent liberties with children and sex offense (first degree).  The alleged victim was a 10-year-old boy.  Sources report the victim informed family members about the alleged incident who brought the boy to the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center for an examination. The hospital informed the Salisbury Police.

The sexual assault allegedly occurred in the boy’s home. Nicholas is reported to be a family acquaintance.

Under a secure $150,000 bond, Nicholas is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
