♦  According to Salisbury Police sources the Circle K convenience store on 1015 E. Innes Street was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” on Tuesday morning October 17th.  The robber entered the side door and moved toward the registers.  He told a clerk he had a gun and wanted to see the safe and the register. Like a number of Salisbury convenience store robbers he had cloth wrapped around his hand as if it contained a gun. The robber’s face was covered with a black stocking. When the clerk turned to walk away, the robber demanded that the clerk return. The clerk darted out of the store.

The robber snatched $47 dollars in cash from the register. Earlier the robber grabbed Newport Menthol cigarettes valued at $5.62.  Leaving by the side door, the robber disappeared quickly into the darkness beyond the lot and appeared to be headed toward East Lafayette Street.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 3:29 a.m.

No injuries were reported at the Circle K.

The Circle K video showed the suspect wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with the number 32 on it and blue jeans.
