Salisbury: Man Robbed at Gunpoint Monday Night on Richard Road. Gunman Takes Off with $502 in Valuables

♦ According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources, Hugo Rangel, 28, of Salisbury, was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” in the 1100 block of Richard Road in Salisbury Monday night.  A stranger, wearing a facial covering, leveled a handgun on Rangel and demanded his valuables.  With a handgun in his face, Rangel complied.  The bandit helped himself to $502 worth of  Rangel’s valuables including his Nike sneakers.

The case remains under further investigation. At this time no suspect has been arrested.
