Malik Johnson, Wanted for the Alleged Murder of Jeffrey Ramsey, Jr. at the Three Stars Mini-Mart in Salisbury, Arrested Today in Spencer

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Malik Erik Johnson,21, wanted for the alleged murder (first degree) and robbery with a dangerous weapon of Jeffrey Alexander Ramsey, Jr. on August 12th, was arrested today after a brief standoff with Salisbury Police, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), and Spencer Police at a home on 112 Springhill Drive in Spencer, N.C.

Johnson was sought for Ramsey’s murder in the Three Star Mini-Mart parking lot at 1130 N. Main Street in Salisbury. Ramsey died from a gunshot wound to the chest at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

The Late Jeffrey Alexander Ramsey, Jr.:

**Updated Tuesday August 21st: Johnson received additional charges for attempted murder when he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend Tonica S. Reid on Whitefall Drive in Asheville, N.C. Reid’s vehicle and several valuables were stolen. Johnson was reported found in Spencer with Reid’s vehicle.**
