Salisbury: Man Falls Prey to Armed Robber Monday Afternoon in Kelsey Scott Park. Gives Up a .45 Caliber Semi-Automatic at Gunpoint

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Anthony Dumont Hill, Jr., 21, living at W. D Avenue in Salisbury, was the victim of a “robbery-firearm” at 1925 Old Wilkesboro Road (Kelsey Scott Park) when a stranger stepped to him and leveled a handgun in his face.  Hill gave up a .45 caliber Springfield XD45 (valued at $525), a firearm magazine (valued at $25), and a book bag (valued at $10) to the robber.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 4:06 p.m.  No injuries were reported.  Another weapon with solid knockdown power falls into the hands of the wrong team.

The crime investigation remains active. No description of the suspect was available.
