Salisbury: Tobie Lowe Arrested Monday Morning on Roy Leazer Avenue for an Alleged Pocket Knife Assault on a Homeless Woman

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Tobie Lowe, 56, living at 560 Brenner Avenue, was arrested Monday at the Brenner Crossing Apartments, 610 Roy Leazer Avenue for allegedly assaulting Laura Schneider, 49, of the streets of Salisbury, with a pocket knife. Schneider was said to be acquainted with Lowe.  The assault allegedly took place earlier at Lowe’s apartment at 560 Brenner Avenue. Lowe allegedly threatened, pushed, assaulted, and hit the victim prior to the act.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 5:15 a.m. A pocket knife was reported seized.

Tobie Lowe:

Lowe was charged with assault inflicting serious injury (misdemeanor). After being held in the Rowan County Detention Center, he was released.
