Salisbury: Forcible Entry Friday Morning at Pop’s Country Store on U.S. 601 Hwy. Heist Nets a $5,000 ATM and $3,640 in Cash

♦ Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources report that Pop’s Country Store at 5285 U.S 601 Hwy in Salisbury, N.C., Ideal ATM, and Christi Crider were victims of a “burglary-forcible entry” and “miscellaneous property damage” on Friday June 30th.  Burglars broke into Pop’s Country Store by breaking out the front door glass with a blunt object (club/rock/brick etc.) and carried out a state-of-the art ATM (Valued at $5,000) and $3,640 in cash.  The total take was $8,640.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 3:10 a.m.

The case remains open.  At this time no suspects have been disclosed.
