Salisbury: Julmul Bellamy, Sr. Held Up at Gunpoint Wednesday on E. Cemetery St. // Four Apple Macbook Air Laptops Stolen Monday at Salisbury High

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Julmul Jones Bellamy, Sr., 49, of S. Long Street in E. Spencer, was the victim of robbery–firearm on Wednesday evening in an open land area on 520 E. Cemetery Street in Salisbury.  The crime was reported at 7:44 p.m. to 911 dispatch.  Threatened with a gun, Bellamy gave $72 to the suspect(s) who he knew.  No injuries were reported.

The crime remains under further investigation.

Julmul Jones Bellamy may be on his way to being the most robbed man in recent Salisbury history. In April he was robbed twice on the streets of Salisbury.  His misfortunes should serve as a warning about the  violent streets of Salisbury:

♦ Sources in the Salisbury Police Department report on Monday May 1st that four students at Salisbury High School, 500 Lincolnton Road were victims of larceny–all other.  The four students: Melvin Bonilla, 16, Kevion Chunn, 16, Henry Holman, 17, and Paul Ernstgerd, 16, all of Salisbury, had their Apple MacBook Air laptops (valued at $900 each) stolen on campus.  A fifth student, name restricted because of age, reported his missing Apple MacBook Air laptop as “miscellaneous lost property”.  The total value of the stolen or missing laptops was $4,500.

The case remains open.  No suspects are yet named.
