Salisbury: Pop Shoppe Broken Into Early Monday Morning at 1509 E. Innes Street. Burglar Grabs Cash Register Boxes Worth $1,000

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that the Pop Shoppe at 1509 E. Innes Street was the victim of a burglary–forcible entry early Monday morning.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 1:03 a.m. Officers observed that a front door window was smashed to gain entry with a blunt object.  Investigators found footprints and noted the suspect wore a facial covering.  Taken during the break-in were 2 Cash register boxes worth $1,000 dollars.  So far no cash or product was listed as stolen. The front door glass was damaged (valued at $500). The burglar exited through the front door.

Security camera stills are likely to be released

No description of the suspect is yet available.  No arrests have been made. The crime remains under investigation.
