Salisbury: Myron Sanders and Breanna Sartain Arrested for an Alleged Armed Robbery and Pistol Beating on Roseman Rd. on February 8th

♦ According to sources in the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Myron Sanders, 18, of Long Branch Road in Salisbury, and Breanna Sartain, 17, of Goodnight Road in Salisbury, allegedly robbed Garrett Lee Woodward, 17, of China Grove with a .22 caliber handgun and beat him in the head with it, threatening to kill him if he didn’t turn over his money. Woodward, an acquaintance of Sanders, allegedly handed an undisclosed amount of money to the pair on the 600 block of Roseman Rd. The crime reportedly took place at 12:44 p.m. February 8th.

Sartain allegedly drove the getaway car. Sanders was arrested back on February 8th for another crime while Sartain was arrested on February 13th.

Due to several alleged forays into recent crimes, Myron Sanders is currently charged with resist/delay/obstruct public officer (misdemeanor), 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, 2 counts of burglary (first degree) (felony), robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony), and possessing stolen goods (felony). Under a secure $250,000 bond, he remains in the Rowan County Detention Center.

Breanna Sartain was charged with robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony) and assault with a deadly weapon (felony). Under a secured $5,000 bond, she is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
