Salisbury: Manhunt for Dustin Hinson and Doug Patrick Wanted for Allegedly Shooting a Man During a Home Invasion Sunday

♦ Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources report that a manhunt is on for Dustin Reid Hinson, 26, of China Grove and Douglas Martin Patrick, 19, of Granite Quarry.  The two are being sought for Sunday home invasion at 5595 Old Concord Road around 7 p.m. where they allegedly robbed Kristopher Cruse, 23, of $600 and shot him with a rifle in the upper leg.  He was transported to the hospital.  His wound is not life threatening. Cruse was acquainted with Hinson and Patrick.

Hinson and Patrick were identified by persons living at the Old Concord Home as suspects.  The pair may be at-large in Salisbury and are considered armed and extremely dangerous.  Do not attempt to apprehend them–contact the Rowan County Sheriff’s office.

Warrants for Hinson and Patrick’s arrest carry charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon (felony) and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury (felony).
