♦ All too common anymore in Salisbury are drive-by shootings into occupied homes and vehicles.  People die this way or suffer major injuries.  For weeks now few days go by without a shooting.  People live in dread of nighttime in many neighborhoods when they hear an uninvited car stop in front of their house with the engine running.  Then bullets shatter windows and pierce walls as the occupants hunker down looking for any kind of cover.  Where are the kids?

Salisbury Police sources report that Freddy Rodney, 40, and Linaill Rodney, 52, both of 231 West Avenue D in Salisbury, were victims of all other shooting into an occupied property. The shooting was reported Sunday at 2:05 a.m. Fortunately no one sustained injuries.  A window and the ceiling sustained damage estimated at $320.  The firearm, employed in the shooting, was undetermined.
