♦ The holidays have arrived in Salisbury with a bang.  Already purse snatchers, strong arm robbers, and bladesmen are cruising the streets hunting for seniors and other easy prey.   Vandalism is unchecked.   Expensive plate glass windows are getting “rocked”, cars and houses are getting splashed with paint, and vehicles are getting keyed.  Nothing quite like going out to your car and seeing the side window smashed and “Kool Moochie Hits N’ Quits” emblazoned in big red letters on the driver’s side door.

Sources in the Salisbury Police Department report on Sunday morning that a visitor from Lithonia, Georgia: Ms. Rushel Rollins, 29, was treated to some Salisbury style hospitality at the Rushco convenience store on 1518 E. Innes St.  Rollins had her purse rudely snatched by a stranger.  The police received a report about the crime at 3:40 a.m.  The purse snatcher fled into the darkness before the officers arrived.  No one was injured.

Rollins lost her wallet, her ID, 2 credit cards, an EBT card, and a Wellcare insurance card for an estimated loss of $69.  She also lost $240 in cash.
