Salisbury: Shooting into a Home Friday Night on E. Bell Street // Knife Assault Saturday November 5th at Outback Steakhouse on E. Innes St.

♦ According to Salisbury Police sources an all other discharging firearm took place Friday night at 1216 Bell Street in Salisbury, N.C.  Latoya Bennett, 30, the home’s occupant, reported the shooting at 7:53 p.m.

Officers determined a handgun was employed in the shooting. The assailant and their motive was unknown to Bennett. Damaged by the gunfire was a window, ceiling tile, a Samsung refrigerator, a sink/lavatory backsplash, and a cabinet. The total damage cost estimate was $475.  Mercifully no one was hit by bullets.

At this time no suspects or motives have been named.

♦ Sources in the Salisbury Police Department report that on Saturday, November 5th a knife assault took place at the Outback Steakhouse, a popular chain eatery at 1020 E. Innes Street in Salisbury, N.C.

Nathan Reynolds, 31, of Mooresville Road, sustained minor lacerations during an alleged altercation with a stranger Elijio Adames, 61, of Salisbury.  Adames was later arrested and charged with assault inflicting serious injury (misdemeanor).  Detained in the Rowan County Detention Center, Adames later bonded out.

Also arrested after the altercation was Danielle Alexandra Pender, 24, of Salisbury who was charged with carrying a concealed pistol/gun (misdemeanor).
