Salisbury: Burglary Thursday at 1300 Larchmont Place // Forcible Entry Wednesday in the 500 Block of Grove Street

♦ Salisbury’s burglary and forcible entry tidal wave continues unabated.  There’s nothing quite like waking up in the middle of the night with a stranger peering into your bedroom with a TV under one arm and a laptop under theother.  Your 9 mm is out in the living room along with your billfold…

Sources in the Salisbury Police Department report that on Thursday they were called to an apartment at 1300 Larchmont Place on the report of a burglary–unlawful entry at 10:38 P.M.  Mr. Dorvail Cue, 31, the dwelling’s resident, told police an unknown intruder entered his apartment and stole $320 when he was out.

At this time no suspects have been named.

♦ Sources in the Salisbury Police Department reported that a burglary–forcible entry took place on the 500 block of Grove St in Salisbury on Thursday. The crime was reported at 12:32 p.m. by Brandon Dillard, 34, of E. Lafayette St. The burglar helped himself to a Sony Play Station 4 video game device and a controller valued $490. Also stolen were a book bag, ID, credit card, cash, wallet, and coins. The value of these items was set at $108. A door was damaged at an estimated $50.

The burglary remains under investigation. No suspects have been named.
