♦ Downtown Salisbury was abuzz with Salisbury Police activity in the late morning before noon as officers went door-to-door and cautioned people to leave because of possible trouble.  An unpermitted demonstration, concerned with alleged Police Shootings of two Black men in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Minneapolis, Minnesota and gang violence in Salisbury, was set to go on until the demonstrators were asked to pay a permitting fee alleged to be $300 (Recent reports now say $25).  At that point the demonstration for whatever reason was called off.

Several businesses closed early including Inness Street Drugs on Main Street.
