Neely was spotted by a Salisbury Police officer around 12 a.m. getting gas at the Speedway gas station on South Main. Soon a second officer joined the first and they allegedly followed Neely out of the lot in an attempt to pull him over. Neely allegedly circled back into the Speedway lot where he stopped. The officer offered Neely a reason why he was pulled over. When the officer returned to his vehicle to verify Neely’s warrants, Neely allegedly sped off. After a brief chase Neely allegedly stopped his car on Henderson Grove Church Road and was arrested without further incident.
