Spencer Police Looking for Information about a Sunday Night Shooting on 2nd Street Near South Rowan Avenue

♦ The Spencer Police Department is looking for information about a shooting that took place Sunday at around 8:25 p.m. on Second street near South Rowan Avenue.  An unidentified Black male was wounded and transported to Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening wounds.

Area witnesses described seeing a green colored Dodge or Chrysler vehicle speeding from the scene of the shooting with at least two occupants.  Numerous shots were heard fired in the area.  The Spencer police continue their investigation.
