Early Voting for the June 7th Primary will begin Thursday May 26th at the West End Plaza in Salisbury from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M.

The Rowan Public Library HQ in Salisbury will NOT be hosting early voting.

Early Voting Schedule at the Rowan Board of Elections at the West End Plaza:

Early voting will open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 26th, May 27th, May 31st, June 1st, June 2nd and June 3rd. On Saturday June 4th the Rowan Board of Elections will be open for early voting from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During early voting same day registration will be permitted. Photo ID will be required during early voting and on election day.

Rowan County Voters will vote for either the 8th Congressional District or the 13th Congressional District. They will also vote in the North Carolina Supreme Court primary.

In the N.C. Supreme Court race incumbent Bob Edmunds is pitted against Sabra Faires, Mike Morgan, and Daniel Robertson.

In the 8th Congressional District Republican primary, incumbent Richard Hudson squares off with Tim D’Annunzio.

The 13th Congressional District Republican primary contains candidates Dan Barrett, John Blust, Andrew Brock, Ted Budd, Kay Daly, Kathy Feather, Chad Gant, Hank Henning, Julia Howard, Matt McCall, Vernon Robinson, George Rouco, Farren K. Shoaf, Jim Snyder, David Thompson, Jason Walser and Harry Warren.

In the 13th Congressional District Democratic primary the candidates are Adam Coker, Bruce Davis, Mazie Ferguson, Kevin Griffin and Bob Isner.
